At the helm of Seven Seas Shipping Lines is Md. Ali Akbar, a seasoned professional with over thirty years of hands-on experience in Bangladesh’s shipping and logistics sector. His career spans managing all types of vessels and cargo at Chattogram and Mongla ports, establishing deep connections with ministries, secretariats, customs authorities, and port administrations. His expertise and integrity ensure that operations are executed efficiently, with full accountability and transparency.

Under Mr. Akbar’s leadership, the company has successfully executed large-scale government projects, including the handling of extensive food grain imports under government tenders. His strategic guidance enables the company to safeguard principal interests while overcoming operational and administrative challenges quickly.

Beyond corporate leadership, Mr. Akbar actively contributes to social, educational, and business organizations, serving as Director of the Bangladesh Shipping Agents Association and representing the company in prominent social institutions such as the Chattogram Club Ltd., Chattogram Boat Club, and Chattogram Seniors’ Club Ltd.
